Meetinghouse withdraws from TCG

I hear today that Meetinghouse will be withdrawing from the Trusted Computing Group.  When their acquisition by Cisco was announced, I speculated whether or not Cisco would allow them to remain part of this vendor agnostic, independent NAC framework.  I guess now we have our answer.  Not sure of the reasons behind this (you don't believe that do you?), but it is a damn shame.  I think Cisco has just thrown away a great opportunity to embrace a true open standard, one for which Microsoft has voiced support for as well.  More importantly it means that the NAC market will continue to be conflicted by opposing and conflicting standards.

I think we are all the losers on this one and am sorry to see it, though I am not surprised.
