I am in the black, my blog is cash flow positive!

I am not quitting my day job just yet, but this month is the first time my blog actually brought in more money than it cost me.  For those who care, StillSecure does not pay anything towards my blog. I own the domain, pay all the bills and decide where to host and what to say.  A few months ago I started putting some ads on the site through the FeedBurner ad network.  This month I actually made more in ads than the blog cost me.  Before you all start thinking about becoming a professional blogger, let me tell you that my blog costs me about $15 dollars a month and I brought in $18 dollars this month, not counting anything from the Amazon links to the books on the left.  So while it is a milestone, lets keep it in perspective. 

To my wife, who is always asking me if there is someway that all of this time I put in my blog will ever pay off, in my best Ralph Kramden voice I would say:  Yessir, this is the time I'm gonna get my pot of gold. To which in her best Alice voice she will reply: Just go for the gold, you've already got the pot (referring of course to my pot belly, not something you smoke).
