You want to mess with a web site or misuse a camera phone, don't do it in Saudi Arabia

A new law awaiting the kings signature in Saudi Arabia would impose some pretty stiff penalties to anyone who makes an “illegal entry into an Internet site or entering a site in order to change its design, destroy it or amend it .."  If that is not enough the law also applies to anyone "“...Infringing upon private lives through misuse of mobile telephones equipped with cameras and similar devices with the purpose of defaming or harming people.”  According to this article, the penalties for these crimes are a $133,000 dollar fine and one year in jail. Hey, it could be worse, I suppose they could chop off the fingers you used to type on the keyboard to enter the website or take the picture with your camera.  I don't know I guess they are going soft.
